sport and leisure facilities were good, also the member of staff there was very friendly and helpfull.
Other members of staff need retraining in customer service.Drinking cans of juice at the reception is not a good look.

This modern-looking place is reasonably clean with excellent staff, especially the receptionist and bartender, and serves a breakfast with options like McDonald's style sausage and poached eggs.

All good — we loved this small hotel — the food was delicious and the staff were accommodating. The property was in an incredible location near the outskirts of Elgin town, deep Scotland and the coast. Plus, it was about 10 minutes' drive to Glen Moray Distillery.

The requirement that on arrival one is asked for credit card details and then told that an additional sum to the advertised rate will be added to the credit card account. I have never had this requirement before and I therefore declined to give my credit card details. It was an off-putting situation and almost offensive to your hotel guest.

Easy to find and plenty of car parking. Evening meal was fine and good quality but breakfast a bit poor.
Single rooms are just a bit on the small side.
